" Some get her on the bed, now! Stop the bleeding before she bleeds out!
The yelling was loud, as if right in her ear. She tried opening her eyes, but something was pressing down on them, the pressure making her cry out loudly, hands grasping onto whatever she could beneath her hands, she wasn't even sure what was there, it felt soft, like some sort of fabric. " Drive faster, she's loosing blood quickly! " the yelling was even louder as she struggled to keep herself conscious, finally peeling her eyes open against the weight. There was a mask over her mouth, the air racing into her lungs, filling them with clean air. Crimson eyes moved around, peering foggily at the people around her. She looked to be in an ambulance, the siren wailing as it raced through the busy streets. The streets she was becoming familiar with, the streets she had become so used to. She couldn't see them know, but the siren was louder then she wanted. A groan escaped her as she tried to roll over on her side, something preventing her, something holding her whole body down. She couldn't even move her arms.
" Aoife? Can you hear me? Aoife Whelan? Is that your name? Just nod if it is " An attendant said as he hovered over her, her wide eyes staring at him desperately, needing to know what had happened. One minute she had been driving down the street, very hesitantly, and the next, she was laying flat on her back, hands grasping tightly on the sheet - she realized it was sheet now. The attendant placed his warm hand on her frozen one. She realized then that her hand, her whole body, was cold as ice. She nodded slowly in response to her question, trying to adjust her face so the mask could come off, the fact that she couldn't speak was driving her inane. Aoife's eyes were still wide, the attendant turning away, telling something to another member of the ambulance, and the vehicle sped up, making her shiver the slightest bit. She wanted to know what happened, needed to know. Was anyone else hurt, and what exactly happened. But before she could say anything, before she made it to the hospital, her vision blanked and her body went limp.
---
" I don't think you should go in there, sir! She's not awake yet! " The voice sounded faint, far away from her. Another weight was on her eyes, but at least this time, she could move her hands, and rub at her eyes. Aoife felt her he'd explode as soon as she touched her eyes, the hard plastic of something on her finger made the crimson irises pop open, staring up at the finger, seeing the faint outline of the white ceiling tiles, white as snow and terrifyingly bright. " See, see! She is awake? Can I go in now? Look at her! " The second voice was familiar, so familiar, that her head turned, eyes squinting as she saw a blob with blonde hair slide into the room, nearly toppling over the coat stand by the bed (such an odd design, coat stand by the bed). The blonde came into focus as she blinked few times, rubbing at one as she turned to stare at him. " Stop being so loud, Demi " She grumbled under her breath, collapsing back down onto the bed, arm thrown over her arms as she felt the Italian hovering by her bed. Sure, she knew he would be concerned, but this was like a mother hen.
She lifted her arm slightly, staring at him, inches from her face. She took her free hand, placing it on his face and pushing it away. " Shouldn't you be in school, Demio? " She asked the third year student, and the look of extreme hurt on his face was enough to make her sit up a bit, shocked to see the expression. " Rue, you were in a car accident, and expect me to be in school? " He scoffed, shaking his head, edging forwards like a puppy. Aoife couldn't help but laugh quietly, but then her thoughts turned back to what he said, and her eyes widened in shock. " Car accident? W-wait.. I was in a car accident? " Her breathing sped up the slightest bit as she spoke, Nevi's hands coming onto her shoulders, blue eyes looking down into hers to try and calm her down. He all but yelled at the doctors to back off as they moved in, before turning back to Aoife, her eyes wide as she attempted to calm herself, the fact that one of her closest friends was there helped, but still didn't completely calm her.
" D-did I hurt anyone? Oh, deithe. Did I h-hurt anyone, Demi? " She asked as her voice shook, turning her eyes towards the moving doctors. They gave the two a wide berth, but tended the the machines, watching them both with keen eyes. Nevi's hands moved up to gently touch her skin. They'd been over panic attacks before, various times. He knew what to do, but the distress in her eyes was almost too much for him to bare. But if he were to start showing anything other then calm, what would that do to her? " Tesoro, calm. You didn't hurt anyone. You didn't. " He said quietly, the panic slowly fading as the words sunk in. No one else was hurt. Only her. And it was all her fault. This accident, she wasn't sure how it had happened, but it was all her fault. Her hands reached up, grasping onto Nevi's holding on as if he was a life line. " Spéartha buíochas a ghabháil " She whispered.
The doctors finally managed to separate the two, but Nevi didn't go far, the concern was obvious on his features as he watched the doctors check on her. It only took few moments, but those few moments were enough to make Aoife's eyes dip, eyes never taking their gaze off Nevi. And soon enough, they dipped close. Soon enough, the medications took over, sending her off into the sleep she needed, the stress from the accident, the damage. She wasn't even sure how badly she was damaged. But all that would be things to worry about later, when she woke. When she could start healing. But there was one thing others didn't have, and that was the support. The support of the Italian in the corner.
