notes,[/font] 'cause marion had a 'smart moment' when she was doing her im interview with shizzy, so you know.[/div]
❚ BLUE EYES BLINKED CONTINUOUSLY AS SHE STARED
Inhaling, she leaned back and drew her arms toward herself, folding them at her chest, "'Continuing on, how will you handle the host and hostess conflict next year?'" Marion's gaze briefly slid across the screen as she read aloud. She blinked again then quickly, she spun around in her chair and let out a loud sigh, "Fuck, I actually gotta think now?" she complained as she automatically typed a short string of reply to the online interviewer - some sort of excuse, so to speak, before she had to settle down and give a proper res-
Screw proper responses. Who really cared about the host or the hostess club, anyway?
Well, maybe she should, being an actual member of the hostess club and all... only till the end of this year though, because there was no way in hell that she'd join it again. All the tea drinking and sophisticated little chitchats had gotten boring after about the second week or so, and she was almost disgusted by the end of that first month.
Man, if it weren't for the fact that some of her so-called 'clients' were people she could mooch off of...
A groan escaped her and she lazily slipped off of the chair, knees meeting the carpet as she threw herself on the floor. She curled up into a ball, and began to roll rightward until she was stopped by the glass doors that led to her balcony.
Suddenly, Marion was up on her feet again with restored energy.
One glass door slid sideways and she stepped out to the balcony. Vision travelled to the bedroom across from her own; the lights were on, and there didn't seem to be more than one person there. Marion's eyes instantly brightened as she looked downward into her own backyard, "Fluffy!" she called out, not at all bothering to keep her voice down even though it was already rather late, "Fluffy! Grab me a rock and toss it up-! Oi! Get back here! Leave that fence alone! I need a roc-"
Her eyebrow twitched as her pet ostrich casually waddled away.
"Li'l shit."
Corners of her lips curling under in obvious dismay, the seventeen year old lifted her gaze again and following a sharp intake of breath, brought her hands up to the sides of her mouth, "KOO~II~CHIIIII!" she shouted, over-pronouncing the name of her best friend, which only earned her something else in return.
Lights from another mansion near her own lit up as a female voice sounded from the same direction, "Keep it down over there, do you know what time-" "Shut up, whore!" Marion instantly snapped back with a frown between her brows.
There was a gasp, but nothing more could be heard. The American snorted a laugh to herself and looked to her friend's bedroom once more, "KOICHIIII!!" she called out again, "Get your ass out here! C'mon! The hell're y'waitin' for? Some sorta mating dance?" blue eyes narrowed slightly at the sight of her friend finally rising up from his bed that he was sitting on, "Bet you'd have rocketed over already if it was fuckin' Himawari or Mochizuki hollerin' at you, huh? Fuckwad." Marion scoffed to herself, arms folded at her chest as Koichi stepped out to his balcony.
"What do you want, now?"
"Help. Obviously. Why the hell else would I ever wanna talk to you?" blonde brows pushed together and her upper lip flared slightly. Eyes giving a quick roll, Marion unfolded her arms and lifted a hand, jabbing her thumb backward to her room, "As much of an asshole as you've been, I'm giving you a chance to redeem yourself, hah? So just c'mon over and don't ask anymore questions. I was supposed to be taking a piss, not constipating."
With a sigh the brunette leaned against the railing, "Fine. Just make it quick." he said, looking down to the ground briefly before performing the ritual that both of them were oh-so-familiar with - climbing over to the plank that was set up as a bridge between their balconies.
"Hurry up, geez, you're not gonna fall," the blonde glared, banging a fist on her end of the plank and then ushering the Tachibana into her room; forcefully, like always.
One hand pulling her chair over, Marion's other hand had reached for her fellow second year so she could push him down into the seat. But with a blink, she pulled the chair underneath herself instead. Now sitting, her narrowed vision snapped over to Koichi again as she pointed at the laptop on her desk, "See this? Online presidential interview, she called it. But then she started sayin' that I've got nothing in store, when all I said was that whatever 'future plans' she wanted to ask about wouldn't even be the student council president's responsibility - like, ain't that shit something everybody tries to come up with together?" she stared at Koichi blinkingly, but then that pointing hand turned and she quickly waved at him, "Point is, now she's askin' 'bout the host and hostess club competition. Can I just say I don't give a fuck?"
Koichi stared at the screen and blinked, "Didn't you know you'd have to do stuff like answer questions? You made a pamphlet." hand extended to the back of her chair, the brunette pushed Marion away from the desk. Crouching down, he began to type in that same chat window Marion had with the school's gossip girl.
"I was answering! I answered her! What're you, blind?!" the blonde complained as she twirled her seat around so that it could face her best friend, frowning and even pointing an accusing finger at him, "What the hell do you think I've been doing before I called you over?"
With an almost sour face, Marion looked away a little and glared sideways at the wall. But, moments later, that look of displeasure dissolved and she laughed through her teeth. An eyebrow arched, she glanced back to Koichi as she sat Indian style on her chair, "Heh! Shut up and keep redeeming yourself, dumbass."[/div]
