❚ THIS WASN'T WHAT HE HAD EXPECTED WOULD
Oh, and that one woman.
That one bitch who had dared to tackle him, throw a chair at him, punch him in the face, take away his gun, shoot him in the leg, and various other terrible deeds, all so that her and her little group of dumb shits could reign control over him and his men.
And why was she so pissed off in the first place, anyway?
Ah. That's right. Becase she couldn't 'find her daughter', who - speaking of which - was actually here, right at this moment, inside the same large traditional Japanese room as Satoru himself.
It was - after all - that woman's wedding.
Of course, he had no idea the woman wasn't really married back then, what with her supposedly having a 'daughter' and all. But people had been talking about it for weeks now, see, and he just so happened to have conveniently overheard that the young Kazehaya leader finally 'uniting' with his fiancee... who Satoru didn't even realize was the crazy bitch till moments after arriving at the ceremonial room.
He was only attending this as some sort of courtesy, you know? But who would've thought, really.
And there he was, believing whole-heartedly as his wounds (leg and face, you know, can't forget that beautiful face... have you seen his nose? yeah, it was only his personal favourite) were being treated after their operation had failed, that he was never going to see the woman ever again. It would've been an obvious relief to him, but clearly - as always - god was equally as big of a bitch as this woman (what was her name again?); though it should've been more than obvious after that incident.
Damn it all.
He wasn't supposed to see her again.
It wasn't part of the deal when he agreed to that hostage business.
He wasn't supposed to feel uncomfortable with the idea of someone who was once under his control - even if said control only lasted for a mere half an hour.
Satoru wriggled in his seat with discomfort and annoyance as he had very little room to spare, being surrounded by others from his gang (his new gang, rather than the one with that fool of a leader who had let the entire group down after their plan, well, didn't really go as planned) and, really, he wasn't at all the type to even sit around so 'properly' at all. With a low growl, he took a small glance around for any signs of one of those geisha who - he hoped - would quickly show themselves so he could ask for some sake.
But it would seem that the geisha were all busy with something else. Or maybe it had something to do with the fact that this wasn't exactly a tea house. Though at the same time - weren't they the guests here? Why was it that they weren't being treated like guests, anyway?
As expected of a woman who would just throw a chair at someone out of the blue, he supposed.
How long till the ceremony began?
His eye twitched as he felt himself losing his patience again.
"Out for some fresh air," he grumbled to the leader of their group - one of the many amongst all those present in the hall - before rising to his feet. He squeezed through the seated crowd, overlooking the annoyed glances he was receiving as he slipped through the opened sliding door.
Walking down the hallway, Satoru blinked when he suddenly noticed some sort of movement from the corner of his right eye. He looked over to see a small, hooded figure, who almost seemed like he or she was from some tribe that practiced bla-
... Was that a candle he saw in her hands?
His gaze followed the figure that continued down the corridor before he or she turned to walk into the ceremonial hall.
Deciding not to dwell too much on the strangeness of it all, Satoru let out a snort and turned back to what he had decided to do - wandering aimlessly and perhaps exploring a little. Which soon proved to be a bit of a foolish decision for the next thing he knew, he had come face to face with the woman he didn't exactly want to see.
Not that it was unexpected, because whatever unexpectedness he might've actually expected kind of... didn't involve the crazy bitch from some silly school invasion operation to turn out looking so...
Pause that thought.
That was enough.
Sure, she had dressed up and all for the occasion (goodness sake it was her wedding) but to think that someone like her - someone as aggressive, vicious, and manly as her - could look the way she did at this moment?
As she came closer, step by step, Satoru suddenly found himself - wearing only socks on his feet - quickly moving down the wooden plank flooring and rushing towards a tree in the yard. A hand slid into the inner pocket of his suit as he pretended to be fishing for a lighter, his back facing the bride and a maid that was tending to her needs. The sound of their footsteps faded a few moments later, and Satoru slowly glanced over his shoulder.
Everything in the small garden was silent now when the door to the ceremony hall slid close. His brows furrowed as he slowly walked back to the wooden flooring that was a step above the ground he was standing on.
Somehow, the light reflected off the smooth, glossy wood seemed a lot stronger now. Satoru squinted his eyes.
You know, not many mellow-looking women dared to stand up against him.[/div]
